The Transcorp Hilton Hotel and the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, IBB Golf Club, Abuja organised a two- day Joint Golf Championship in November 2011. The championship took place at the IBB Golf Club in Asokoro, Abuja. The Cup presentation ceremony took place subsequently at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Maitama- Abuja and the CLUB HOUSE of the IBB Golf Club.
The hotel held a Cocktail in honour of the players where trophies were presented to the winners in the various categories. A Lagos/Abuja based outfit HOLE 19 GROUP was one the sponsors of the championship.
The Cocktail was attended by the Captain of the IBB Golf Club, DESHI and other dignitaries including former Governor Oyinlola of Osun State. The Chief Executive Officer of HOLE 19 GROUP, Aderemi Ajidahun was the moderator at the ceremony and he also presented trophies to winners.
