CHILD TRAFFICKING IS DESTROYING THE YOUTHS.......JOY GREENE

JOY GREENE IS A CHRISTIAN MOTHER AND A CHILD RIGHTS ACTIVIST  WHO IS PREACHING AGAINST CHILD TRAFFICKING ALL OVER THE WORLD. THE PUBLISHER AND EDITOR-IN- CHIEF OF Unique International Magazine, TONY N. IWEKA MET HER AT A STATE BANQUET AT THE PRESIDENTIAL VILLA IN THE ASO ROCK-OFFICE AND RESIDENCE OF THE NIGERIAN PRESIDENT- ABUJA, NIGERIA’S CAPITAL. BELOW IS THE EXCERPT OF THEIR CHAT.
UIM;          May we meet madam?
GREENE;   I am Joy Greene. I am from Tampa, Florida in the United States and I am visiting Nigeria.
UIM;          Is this your first time in Nigeria?
GREENE;    Yes it is.
UIM;          What is your impression about the country?
GREENE;    It has been wonderful. I am honoured to be in Nigeria. There is a  presence of God here and  it’s very strong. There is openness to the Holy Spirit.
UIM;           We hear that your visit has something to do with the children. If so, what’s your view on Child- Trafficking and what are you doing about it?
GREENE;      We have a major issue in Florida especially my city, Tampa and Orlando up to Georgia. Our South East region is a very heavy trafficked area. In the United States, up to three hundred thousand children are being trafficked. The drug cartels have found out that it is less expensive to traffic children than drugs. It is an atrocity that the church is not very aware of. So the government is calling on the church for help. They recognise that it is actually been empowered by satanic authors. They are calling on us to help.

JOY GREENE

There is awareness and the government is calling on us to step up to the social ill in the society. I was blessed to be able to attend in Nigeria, ‘ THE KING OF THE DESERT ‘ which was presented to the public. It was an awareness to start a project in Abuja. I was able to hear what is happening in Nigeria concerning the issue of Child-Trafficking. I also learnt that some work is being done to create a centre for those that come home that have not been broken from this problem  where the enemy had attempted to destroy them . It is difficult that the people involved are not prosecuted enough. It is difficult that young men and women have been broken down to get them to identify the traffickers. Instead, they have now identified them as boyfriends and persons that cared for them in-spite of all the abuse.                 And so having a safe place for the victims will allow them to testify and would allow the church to begin to speak up that the laws need to change. It is absolutely essential that the laws change. If the demands for the children were not there then there will be a serial. We are really working hard on those participating in this crime to stop because it is evil.
