The 10th of October 2011 was a happy day in life of Mrs. Joy Mena Dovie a.k.a MAMA 2010 as she added one more year to her calendar. MAMA 2010 hails from OTURKPO, Benue State in the Middle Belt Area of Nigeria. MAMA as she fondly called is married to Abuja based Afro Beat Music crooner, Okson Mena Dovie a.k.a. BABA 2010, an original ISOKO MAN, the leader of THE DOVIE SOUNDZ BAND. The couple, their sons, MARK and ZINO as well as their household celebrated the day in a special way in-spite of the fact that it was Monday, a working day.
As early as six O’clock in the morning, congratulatory messages had started buzzing on MAMA2010 and BABA2010’s blackbury ( BLACKBERRY ) from their friends and fans in and outside Abuja. Aside from friends and well wishers, MAMA2010 was joyous as she celebrated with her siblings including ONYANKA, TITI,ESTHER, ADA,MARY, AISHA and other relatives.
In the night, it was groooove all the way and the venue was THE ARENA where BABA 2010 &THE DOVIE SOUNDZ BAND perform every day of the week. MAMA JOY’s husband, friends and relatives organised a birthday bash for her. The guests had lots to eat and drink all through the night. DJ HAKANE was around to entertain and the guests danced the hearts out until the week.
A very close family friend , FUNSHO a.k.a DON FUSO made the toast at the birthday bash for DEAR MAMA.
MAMA 2010, you are 10 over 10. Shine.. Shine.. Baby .. carry go...nothing do you.
